Faro Field Flyers flying facility is privately owned and has a limited flying season as wet and dry weather dictates.
We reserve the right to be selective in our membership.
We have gone out of our way to preserve our low-key atmosphere for our own sanity and in keeping the neighbors happy. We fully intend to keep it that way.
If you fit the bill of a laid-back pilot who is just here to enjoy yourself and enjoy the company of other like-minded individual's you are more than welcome to apply.
... If you're the Guy or Gal
* That just loves to stir the pot
* Can't help but bring up the latest political garbage of the day to get a rise out of people
* Thinks the only right way to do something is the way it was done in his or her last club
* Believes the only good airplane is the one that is loud and in your face
* Likes to argue for arguments sake
maybe we will see you somewhere else some time.
We do have fences on either side of the runway that have been known to intimidate some pilots. They are necessary evils and will not be moved as long as the property is a functioning farm. however, the runway is 75' wide by 1,200' long. If you can't land on it, it is not the fence's fault.
The button below will take you to the application to fill out and submit.
Annual dues are due January 1st of each year.
